Phlebotomy
Our 10-week Phlebotomy Technician course at Great Faith Medical Training Center provides hands-on training in blood collection, patient care, and laboratory procedures. Students learn venipuncture techniques, safety and infection control, specimen handling, and professionalism in healthcare settings.
Class Schedule:
Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays in the evening from 5:45 PM – 9:45 PM, making it convenient for working adults.
This program is designed to build confidence and prepare students for entry-level employment in the medical field.
Medical Administrative Assistant
Our 8-week Medical Administrative Assistant course at Great Faith Medical Training Center prepares students for front-office roles in healthcare settings. Students learn medical office procedures, scheduling, patient communication, medical records, insurance basics, and professionalism.
Class Schedule:
Classes are held Mondays from 5:45 PM – 8:45 PM and Saturday mornings from 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM, offering a flexible option for busy schedules.
This program equips students with the skills needed to work confidently in medical offices, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
Basic Computer
Basic Computer
Our 6-week Basic Computer Skills course at Great Faith Medical Training Center is designed to build confidence and proficiency in essential computer use. Students learn basic computer operations, typing skills, internet navigation, email communication, and common programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
This course is ideal for beginners and helps prepare students for success in both educational and workplace settings.
CPR/BLS
Basic Computer
Our 1-day CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) course at Great Faith Medical Training Center provides comprehensive, hands-on training in life-saving techniques for both healthcare providers and the general public. Students learn adult, child, and infant CPR, proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and how to respond to choking and other emergency situations.
The course also covers high-quality chest compressions, rescue breathing, team-based response, and basic first aid principles, following current safety guidelines.
Upon completion, participants gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations at home, in the workplace, or in healthcare settings.
Resume Builder & Interview Training
Our 5-week Resume Builder & Interview Training course at Great Faith Medical Training Center is designed to prepare students for job success. Participants learn how to create professional resumes, write effective cover letters, and complete job applications with confidence.
The course also includes interview preparation, such as common interview questions, proper attire, communication skills, and mock interviews to build confidence and professionalism.
This program equips students with the tools needed to present themselves effectively and succeed in today’s job market.
Medical Terminology
Our 8-week Medical Terminology course at Great Faith Medical Training Center builds a strong foundation in the language of healthcare. Students learn medical prefixes, suffixes, root words, body systems, common diagnoses, and abbreviations used in clinical settings.
Class Schedule:
Classes are held Saturdays from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, making it ideal for those needing a flexible weekend option.
This course prepares students to confidently understand and use medical language in healthcare, administrative, and clinical environments.
